1. Operator and app processing
RunPost is operated by HWIHO KIM. It combines running workouts from Apple Health with photos and videos. The app has no account registration, advertising, analytics SDKs or user tracking, and does not upload your Health records or media to an operator server. Information handled by this website and email support is explained separately below.
2. Health records and routes
When you connect Health, the app requests read access to workouts and walking/running distance. It requests workout-route access when routes are needed. Choosing a sticker that uses additional Health metrics requests read access to heart rate, active energy and step count. Where available, it reads saved lap/segment distances and times, average/maximum heart rate, active energy, steps and cumulative elevation gain for that workout. Records are used for viewing, comparisons, monthly/yearly totals and photo/video designs. Availability depends on the recording app, device and permissions; missing values are not invented. RunPost does not create or change Health records or track your current location. You can change permissions in Health. Routes are shown in full by default; the editor lets you turn them off or hide areas around their start and end. 3. Selected photos and videos
RunPost imports only the photos and videos you choose through the system photo picker. The system may download originals from iCloud. The app does not freely read your entire photo library or change original files. If you choose to use a video's original sound, audio from the exported segment is included.
4. Saved projects and deletion
The device's project library stores workout summaries and identifiers, editing settings, previews and copies of background photos/videos. Fetched split distances/times, average/maximum heart rate, active energy, steps and elevation gain may also be saved with a project to preserve its display when reopened. Changing Health permissions does not automatically delete these saved copies; delete the project in Library to remove them. Video copies may retain original metadata. GPS route coordinates are not saved in project files; routes are read again from Health when needed. Projects use file protection, are excluded from device backups and have no RunPost cloud sync. Viewing, editing and saving projects remain available after the trial. Deleting the app removes its internal projects, but does not remove Health records or results already saved in Photos or shared elsewhere.
5. Saving and sharing results
New JPEG and MP4 exports do not copy source GPS/location metadata or workout identifiers. Visible photos, stats, routes and titles are included and may still reveal a location. Saving to Photos requests add-only permission and follows your photo-library sync settings. Sharing passes the result to the app you select. Instagram Stories sharing places the result on a device-local pasteboard with an expiry of up to five minutes, then opens Instagram's editor. You confirm publication in Instagram. RunPost does not request your Instagram password. The destination service's policy applies to its subsequent processing.
6. Temporary files
Temporary exports use file protection. On the next app launch, RunPost removes temporary JPEG/MP4 exports older than 24 hours. Temporary source-video copies are removed when the editing state no longer references them. After an unexpected app exit, copies may remain until the system cleans temporary files.
7. Trial, purchases and preferences
Payments and restoration use Apple StoreKit. Verified product, purchase-date and revocation information determine access; RunPost does not receive card numbers or payment-method details. The free trial is available once and lasts seven days from activation. New image/video exports and external sharing then require a one-time lifetime purchase. There is no subscription or automatic renewal. Existing projects remain viewable, editable and savable in Library. Language, theme and other preferences are stored on the device.
8. Website and email support
This support website's hosting provider may process standard access logs, such as IP address, request time, requested page and browser information, to deliver pages, maintain security and operate the service. This is separate from Health records and media in the app. If you email us, the operator and email providers process your sender address and the content you choose to send to handle your request. Support correspondence is kept as needed for replies and follow-up support; deletion requests are handled unless a legal retention obligation applies. Please do not send sensitive Health records, government identifiers or payment-method details.
9. Privacy requests and changes
Contact hiorio@kakao.com for privacy questions or to request deletion of support correspondence. You can delete local projects in Library and change Health permissions in the Health app. Manage results saved or shared to other services in those services. If our practices change, we will update this page and its last-updated date.
